GIVE-AWAY!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Six years ago I would be getting excited to get slutted up in some sort of costume that showed WAY to much skin. But now? I don't roll that way. I'm excited to get my son dressed up in his T-Rex costume and take him trick or treating! Nothing wrong with slutting up I'm just past that stage in my life and too chunky for those costumes...hahaha.

This is my FIRST give-away. This give-away is to say Thank you THANK YOU for all the motivation and inspiration you all have given me throughout my journey. And I still have a LONG way to go so I hope you all are ready for the ride. This blog has been the key to my weight loss, and I am so happy to share my weight loss ups and downs with you all! I don't think I would have come this far without any of you.

Since Breast Cancer Awareness month is coming to an end I thought I would do a few products that supported Breast Cancer research and a couple other just fun ones. Remember until midnight tonight for every follower I get I will donate .25 cents to The Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. For more info see my Cancer Sucks post.

Anyways onto the SWAG:

OPI Pink of Hearts FULL SIZE nail polish set.

Biolage Colorcaretherapie Hair Set. This stuff is amazing and your hair will smell so good. Even if it's not colored it still is great to use!

A Super cute Owl necklace.

My personal copy of Jillian Michaels Kickbox Fast Fix. I don't want this DVD anymore...we broke up remember?? :)

Anyway, the only requirement is that you are a follower of my blog! Use the handy dandy raffle copter to enter below. If you are not yet a follower click the "join this site" button to the right above my AMAZING followers.

Color Run Weekend!

So I did my first 5k EVER this weekend. I was so nervous but it ended up being tons of fun! In fact I'm signing up for another one...The Turkey Trot which is on Thanksgiving...yee haw! Maybe I can burn about 1/20th of the calories I will be consuming that day!

Anyway, time for some pictures:

Before/After :)

My amazing friends! Bottom left corner is my little man and I after. I thought he might be scared when I came back and was literally covered with color but he thought it was so funny!

Let me tell you that color powder aint no joke. It was EVERYWHERE. My car still looks like a bunch of fairies shit colorful pixie dust everywhere (especially in the back seat bitches!) :)

We had pedi's with my awesome mom in law scheduled for that afternoon. So I showered and assumed I got all the colorful mess off of me. Get to the Spa. Look down at my feet and my big toe is blue. I told the girl "umm I did the color run I don't have a disease or anything" then she goes "oh that explains all of that green and blue on your neck." Apparently I didn't look at myself too well after showering. But hey I had to get to the spa!

My sister in law and I puff painted our shirts! It totally reminded me of the 90's when you would decorate EVERYTHING even those ked shoes with puff paint. :)

All in all it was so fun I will definitely be doing this run again next year. I am mainly just proud of myself for actually committing to a running plan. I have tried running MULTIPLE times the past few years and always gave up when it got too hard. Not this time biotches. I pushed through and did it. It feels so good to accomplish goals. Just gotta keep going.

Today I start 10k training.

ALSO, I am doing a give a way on WEDNESDAY (day after tomorrow) to thank all of my amazing "followers," It is going to be off the hook!

It's a Vicious Cycle

Note: I wrote this last night.

So I have been struggling with my snacking. I'm sure a lot of us have been. It is so f'n hard when you have all this shit food around you at work. I have had pretty good will power but sometimes you just give in and eat a damn homemade pumpkin muffin with cheesecake frosting. When my boss brought those in I directly said "I hate you!" to her. Obviously I was joking my boss rocks but I really didn't want those cup cakey muffins staring me down. So I ate half of one, then I ate the other half the next day and then today I ate a whole one. Then pasta for lunch and then fast food for dinner womp womp womp. I feel like shiiiieeeetttt. It's like one bad choice brings on another then another then another bad choice! There goes my weight loss for last week!

Well what's a fatty girl to do?

So after reading Miss Holly's post about starting clean eating again, I decided I am going to start "clean-ish" eating tomorrow, because I really don't have the balls to eat totally clean. I am not going to be eating cupcakes or cookies or processed sugary snacks. I will still eat granola bars (that contain protein) and SOME other processed snacky items. Plus I'm going to keep my sugar down to less than 30 grams a day.

I AM going to do this until next weigh day and see how it feels.
Just like I sucked it up on the treadmill I am going to put my big girl panties on and do this too. Who wants to join me??

Plan for tomorrow:
Breakfast:
Whole wheat double fiber english muffin
1-2 tblspoon natural peanut butter (200-290 cals)

Elliptical workout

Snack:
Chocolate muscle milk (150 cals)
Lunch:
Morning stare black bean veggie patty
2 slices smart wheat bread
greek yogurt (320 cals)

Snack:
special k protein granola bar
pistachios

Dinner:
4 oz chicken tenderloins (skinless)
some sort of veggies
brown rice

Also going to get at least 80 oz of water in!

On a much more fun note Melanie is doing an AWESOME giveaway that ends Friday! Go check it out her blog is super motivating, and she is an inspiration to me!
