The Waiting Game...

Nope no baby yet. Baby watch is still going on at my house.

I have been blogging less because I have bloggers block. I have no idea what to write about. So I will bore you with the last part of my pregnancy. I know after baby I will have a TON to write about...I just hope I get the time!

I'm 38 weeks 1 day today. We have an ultrasound today to see how big this little squish is. I'm excited to see him again but I know we won't see much because at this point he is pretty much squished in there. It will be a 4d ultrasound so we will basically get to see what he looks like. I think I'm going to ask her to avoid his face...I don't want to see it until he is born! I need some element of surprise. :)

I am super uncomfortable. Constant pressure, contractions and waddling like a duck. I DREAD bending down for anything.

He is still moving around a lot which is comforting. I love feeling him move. He's only had the hiccups a few times. Hunter had the hiccups almost every day the last trimester. He also had them a lot after birth.

Hunter is really excited! I know he is going to have some big changes, but he is going to be a great big brother. He says "I love you baby broder" to my belly every day and loves blowing bubbles at it. :)

I got a teal/blue pedi in honor of my new baby boy on his way!! :)

Anyway, I know this is short and random but I promise I will be back in blogging shape in no time.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Five on Friday & Bare Belly

Linking up with the fabulous Darci today!!

1. Lactation Cookies

um what the....yes I made lactation cookies and they are amazing. Anyone can eat them. The hubs was scared he was going to start producing milk...I was like good maybe you can help out after the baby gets here! hahaha. Here's the recipe. They are basically chocolate chip cookies but you add whole oats, flax seed and brewers yeast (which is what really helps with milk supply). I wrapped packs of two cookies in plastic wrap then threw them in a freezer bag so I can just take a couple out at a time. They are so GOOD though!

2. New Hairs!

I got my hair did yesterday and it feels so good! My roots were outta control man. I went alot blonder...yee haw now I can have even more fun!

3. Bare belly and MAJOR farmers tan!

EEk Can't believe I'm posting this but I've been wearing a tankini when we go swimming and this is the result...super casper white belly! hahah! Butttt who doesn't love baby bellies right?? RIGHT?

4. Enjoying Food

In my last few weeks of pregnancy I have been enjoying my cravings. My biggest ones lately:
5. Morning Walks
Hunter has fallen back in love with the jogging stroller. We took it out last week and a freakin tire popped for the millionth time. I took the stroller into Les Schwab and had no flat tires put on so suck it stroller!! No more flats for us! We've been walking about a mile and a half every morning.

I hope everyone has an amazing weekend! Enjoy it, party it up or sleep...because I know I won't be doing the latter two. ;)

Independance Day and Prego updates!

How was everyone's 4th of July? Ours was pretty relaxed but way fun! It was hotter than a monkey's butt crack but I didn't complain complained the whole time I was outside. :) We went to my parents for most of last week. The hubs had work off so it was great.

Hunter had ear muffs for his first fireworks show and yes Ian is flipping me off in the bottom one!

chocolate wasted...My mom playing in the slip n side with him!

I got made fun of by some friends for Hunter wearing ear muffs at the fire works show...but honestly I didn't think it was that weird?! Am I wrong? We were like right by where they were shooting them off and it was LOUD. I just want to protect his ears. I'm sure he would have been fine without them, but it made me feel better...oh well..I love my friends and its all in fun but ain't nobody got time for "other mothering." (Does anyone know what show I'm referencing?? It's kind of embarrassing...) Hunter LOVED the fireworks though! He called them "popping things" and named all the colors while they were going off...so cute. Best show ever.

And onto some fun pregnancy stuff. Exactly one more week until I'm considered "full term" or 37 weeks. So excited for that. Friday night while we were out of town (of course) I was having super painful contractions finally I called my doctor and he said to go into the nearest hospital. We got the contractions stopped and everything is all good now. :) Been having irregular braxton hicks contractions and lost my mucus plug (sick!) so we will see what happens!

I am seriously nesting like a fool, I cannot help myself. Need something organized or cleaned? I'm your girl. I wish I was like this all the time...or maybe not...who knows?

I'll leave you with some incredibly hot pics..

Anyways love y'all! Heres to a great week!

34 Weeks Pregasaurus/My fears/Potty Training

I'm a little over 34 weeks knocked up y'all! Time is flying and my anxiety levels are UP. I am so nervous/scared to be a mom of two. Mainly because I don't want Hunter to think I don't have time for him. But that is another post for another day.

So far I have had a pretty uneventful pregnancy. Until last week when my damn blood pressure was high. So I had to go back a few days later so they could make sure I was still doing okay. Well my blood pressure was still high. As of now I'm just going to be monitoring it at home, and watching for other symptoms of preeclampsia (i had this last pregnancy). Unfortunately, I will have to go into the dr more and will be having my cervix checked earlier now (boo!) because they think I may go into labor earlier.

I was doing fine on weight gain until the past few weeks where I have gained 7 lbs. Putting me at 23 gained :( oh well. At this point I'm not worried I am really motivated to shed this weight after baby, and I will.

This was about a week ago..

Hunter has been such a crazy kid lately. I seriously love him so much but he does drive me crazy at (many) certain points throughout the day! He is the biggest goof ball and sooooo active. I don't know where he gets his energy. He is doing pretty good potty training. He just figured out how to pee standing up and always says "I pee standing up like Mommy and Papa" I still haven't told him I can't pee standing up (wouldn't that be the greatest though.) Plus he always watches me in the bathroom so I don't know where he gets that from. I still have to take him like every 45 min to an hour to the pot if he hasn't told me himself he has to go, so he is not fully trained yet. But it's a good start!!

Big boy undies!!

Pretty sure I will be needing to do this to my toilets at my house soon!!

How were all of your potty training experiences? Anyone else balls deep in it? Any mom advice for having a second kid??

Work out Wednesday!

Today I'm linking up with the workout vixen herself Skinny Meg!

Yes I'm very pregnant. And pleasantly plump.

But I'm still working it out. I have been feeling SO much better since I started working out again a few weeks ago.

This would be a great workout for anyone wanting to start using free weights and that are low on time.

I do 3 sets of each exercise with about 15 reps each time. I choose a heavy enough weight that the last 4 or so are REALLY hard for me to do.

Crazy Mama's Prego/Beginner

Free Weights Workout

I do this workout in a circuit fashion. So I do each set once do my 15 reps (or more for legs) and then move onto the next down the list. Then start over from the beginning and repeat for a total of 3 times. I do this workout twice a week and I do a different workout with resistance machines another day. I only take about a 10 second rest between lifts.

1. Bicep curls

2. Tricep curls (over your head) use a weight in each hand not just one weight held with both hands.

3. Shoulder press (sitting down on bench or standing up)

4. Chest curls (laying on bench or floor)

5. Squats (hold a dumbbell in each hand or a bar over your shoulders while squatting) right now I'm not using weights with these but after baby I will. I do 3 sets of 20

6. PliƩ squats (everything same as squats but point your toes out to the sides, it works your inner thighs)

7. Lunges (hold weights) I just go across the room.

After I complete three cycles of the circuit I do cardio for 30 minutes.

Enjoy your workout!!

And Summer begins...

I love summer.

Especially since I'm done working.

Done being stressed out and not having time to do the things I love...like writing and working out! I'm so excited to have time to blog again you don't even know!!

I really could have had time to workout but this pregnancy has had me drop dead tired by the time I had gotten off work I just wanted to pick up my little guy and go home. Now I will be headed to the gym every day around 9 am. I'm just going to be doing lighter workouts since I'm 30 weeks and out of shape but it will do.

I CAN'T wait to run again. I'm contemplating signing up for a half in November. That would only give me about 2 months post baby to train (after a 4 week break). So I'm a little unsure. I'm leaning towards going for it, it will give me good motivation and if I have to walk a little (or a lot) who cares?? At least I had the balls to try.

Today was the first day of summer break. The little guy and I headed to the zoo. It was sprinkling but we still had a blast! We saw tons of exotic creatures including a moose, mountain sheep, mule deer and coyotes bahaha. But Hunter thought it was cool so that's all that matters. We were pretty much the only people there, and we got an awesome view of the grizzly bear taking a nap right in front of the glass score! I got an ass kicking work out. This zoo is seriously ALL (not really but a majority) of it UPHILL. I was huffing and puffing and Braxton hicksing (false contractions) it the whole time!!

We had to bring Pirate Jake along of course

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. The little guy and I headed up to my parents and had a blast. He ate about 13 chocolate ice cream cones and covered every outfit I brought with chocolate, boogers and sun screen grease....

Also, here's a picture of the belly at just under 30 weeks. I'm 30 weeks 2 days now!

Anyway, expect another post on Friday this week (or earlier!) I'm pumped!!

So how was your Memorial Day weekend?

Would you sign up for a half a few months post partum?

Why I Miss Being on a "diet"

I'm insane right? Every day on Instagram I see all these amazing pictures of some of my fave blogger's healthy meals, flexing their guns and/or their miles logged in on their phone apps. And I'm so f'n jealous it's not even funny. When everyone and there cat was doing that 10 day cleanse I was foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog wanting to clear my colon and whatever else with y'all.

Why???

Because I can't freakin do any of that biotches. Now I know I could eat super healthy while pregnant and yes I could work out every day, but I seriously feel like nauseas fat kid sitting on the sidelines while all the cool kids get picked to play kick ball. But really? If I'm not eating some sort of sugar or carb every 2 hours I am puking my guts out or dry heaving....of which neither are acceptable when teaching a classroom of kids.

Then when I get off work I am beat and have been on my feet most the day and want to sit down. I honestly just need to accept the fact that I'm not the healthiest pregnant woman. I need to enjoy this time, but I'm not going to over enjoy it if you know what I mean...I have replaced some of my unhealthy snacks with fruit and am going to try to get in 20 min 3- 4 times a week of walking, as well as some squats at home. Nothing too crazy. Also because I have the color run literally a month or maybe a little more after I pop this baby out.

This is why I'm scared to get pregnant again...I don't want to go through this feeling of eating my brains out or feeling sick all the time. But of course I will probably forget about it like I forgot about it last time. Until I re read this post...

I gotta stop eating this for breakfast:

I'm writing this post to help remind myself after I have the baby of how I felt when pregnant, and hopefully to keep my ass motivated in getting back in shape!

This pretty much sums up how I feel:

20 Weeks and Other Life Updates!

How far along?

20 weeks...hopefully a little more than halfway now!

Symptoms?

Everything. Some days I feel great others not so much. Mainly a constant hungry lingering feeling. Been trying to satisfy it with fruits and veggies. But sometimes (aka at least once a day) I give into a not so healthy craving. I also pee like 6 times a night. It's like a never ending waterfall it sucks! Oh did I mention my growing belly? I had to buy some maternity jeans this weekend the old hair tie through the button hole was getting old fast.

This was taken this morning. Dang I wish I had bigger boobs.

Gender?

Another little boy!

Weight gain?

10 lbs

Those are the only questions I can think of answering right now. What else is new? I am getting Hunter's big boy room finished up and I can't wait to post the final pictures! I'm also getting baby boys nursery ready and let me tell you it is ADORABLE. I'm reaching the point in pregnancy where it's not so bad anymore, the symptoms are fading and I'm not so big that its uncomfortable. At first I thought this would be my last pregnancy but maybe not...

Also, I am so excited for next week because it is Spring break!!! And that means no work for me! I have two full days of spring cleaning planned out. Like MAJOR spring cleaning. I am going to post my check lists sometime this week. I know you are all dying to see it.

I will leave you with this:

My boys :)

I hope everyone has a fabulous week!
